PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device correctly reproducing an address from an optical disk equipped with a plurality of recording layers of structures indicating the address of the other track adjacent to an inner or outer peripheral side by a pit on one track. SOLUTION: The optical disk device for processing an optical disk equipped with first and second layers in which first and second tracks are alternately formed toward inner and outer peripheral directions is provided with: a detecting means for detecting a reflected light from an optical disk where pits indicating addresses are recorded in the first track of the first layer and the second track of the second layers and marks are recordable in the second track of the first layer and the first track of the second layer; a deciding means for deciding the detection system of the pits of the first and second layers based on pit polarity information indicating a pit polarity and recording layer identifying information for identifying the first and second layers; and a reproducing means for reproducing the addresses of the pits from the first and second layers by the decided detection system.
