PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste disposal agent and a disposal method using the same which promote decomposition of organic waste by microorganisms for enhancing disposal capacity in a bio-disposal system, and suppress malodor occurring during disposal. SOLUTION: The organic waste disposal agent contains a mixture of 45-55wt% vermiculite with 45-55wt% cokes as main materials, and the organic waste disposal agent is mixed with organic waste (garbage or the like), the mixture is agitated for each given period in a warm atmosphere of at 50-65°C to decompose the organic waste with microorganisms.
