PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device not requiring formation of a shutter box part and capable of forming width in an opening/closing direction at compact. SOLUTION: In the elevator device, an entrance/exit 4 is provided on a side wall of an elevator car 3 internally provided liftably in a hoistway 2 of a building body 1 and an inner door 5 is openably/closably attached to the entrance/exit 4. A doorway 6 corresponding to the entrance/exit 4 of the elevator car 3 is provided on each floor of the building body 1 and an outer door 7 is openably/closably attached to the doorway 6. The inner door 5 and the outer door 7 are formed using a foldable folding door 8 and it is provided such that the inner door 5 and the outer door 7 at folding are provided in parallel in a going out/in direction A.
