<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device ensuring excellent sealing and an excellent seal life even when a rotating side rotates while an axial angle thereof varies. <P>SOLUTION: A non-rotating side lip 22 opened so as to increase a diameter at a distal end is slidably brought into close contact with a seal flange 32 on the rotating side having a specified angle with respect to an axial center. The seal flange 32 is supported on a sleeve 31 serving as a mounting portion to the rotating side through a disk-like elastic plate 33 made of rubber-like elastic material. Therefore, by a vibration absorption action of the elastic plate 33 and a gyro effect caused in the seal flange 32 by rotation, variation in the axial angle of the seal flange 32 is suppressed, and a state that the seal flange 32 is brought into excellent close contact with the side lip 22 is ensured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
