PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a fixing member from omission at a low cost even for a knocking sensor transferred in a state that the fixing member is passed through a through hole formed in the supporting member. SOLUTION: The knocking sensor 1 is constituted such that the fixing bolt 91 is inserted into the through hole 71 and the under surface of the supporting member 11 is abutted on the internal combustion engine then tightened by screwing from upper surface of the supporting member 11. In the knocking sensor 1, the cap 41a includes a protruding part 47a capable of keeping the fixing bolt are fixedly arranged on the inside wall surface of the through hole 71, therefore, the knocking sensor 1 like this a specific working such as a padding is not needed, the constitution for holding the fixing bolt 91 is simplified, thereby the omission of the fixing bolt 91 is prevented with a low cost constitution.
