PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece rotating and feeding device, capable of achieving stable feed and rotation control, and noiseless and high-precision operation by composing a rotation mechanism such as a ball screw grinding machine and a ball screw inspection machine without gears. SOLUTION: A main spindle rotation mechanism B to support and rotate a ball screw shaft W as a workpiece to be machined or inspected on a table body 3 that is driven to be fed by a table feed mechanism A is composed of a main spindle 4, and a drive motor M2 to drive the main spindle 4 to rotate, and a coupling 8 to connect the output shaft of the drive motor M2 to the main spindle 4 in this workpiece rotating and feeding device. A flywheel 10 is installed on an output shaft of the drive motor M2, and a circular shell part support hole in such a form as to be gradually expanded toward the coupling 8 is formed on a coupling side end face part of the flywheel 10.
