<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fuel cell stack to prevent a cell from damage caused by supply shortage of reaction gas without stopping power generation. <P>SOLUTION: A supply state of reaction gas is judged for each cell (#1 to #6) constituting a fuel cell stack 2. If one cell (#3) is judged to be short of supply of reaction gas, a cathode and an anode of the cell (#3) are made short-circuited by a short-circuiting switch 10 to have it electrically cut off from the other cells (#1, #2, #4, #5, #6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
