PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where a residual potential on the surface of a photoreceptor drum is efficiently removed by preventing a mutual interference between the photoreceptor drum and a destaticizing part equipped with light guides in attaching/detaching a photoreceptor cartridge, and arranging the light guides so as to adjacently face the photoreceptor drum, then, a good image can be formed. SOLUTION: Regarding the image forming apparatus, prior to the attachment/detachment of the photoreceptor cartridge 17, all the light guides are separated from the photoreceptor drum 21 by supporting all the light guides of the destaticizing part 19 by a monochromatic roller supporting member 71. Thus, the mutual interference between the photoreceptor drum 21 and the light guides is prevented in attaching/detaching the photoreceptor cartridge, and also, the drum and the light guides are adjacently arranged in a counter state.
