PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precast concrete member to be used as high-strength, highly tenacious, and highly durable precast concrete columns or precast concrete beams excellent in earthquake resistance and durability, economical, and capable of shortening construction periods. SOLUTION: In the precast concrete member, a hollow crust 2 is made of ultra-high-strength concrete or ultra-high-strength mortar. A hollow part 5 of the crust 2 is shaped according to performance required for earthquake resistance.
