PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a sleep condition of a subject by accurately grasping the subject's motion. SOLUTION: The sleep condition detecting system comprises a sensor unit 2 for detecting acceleration generated along with the subject's motion, and a center device 1 for detecting the sleep condition of the subject according to a sensing signal detected by the sensor unit 2. The center device 1 is equipped with a reception part 13 for receiving the detected sensing signal, a threshold determining part 113 for determining whether or not the received sensing signal crosses a predetermined threshold, and a sleep condition determining part 114 for determining the sleep condition of the subject on the basis of the number of times when the sensing signal crosses the predetermined threshold.
