PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone-coated treated powder which can be applied to a cosmetic and have excellent in water repellency and dispersibility. SOLUTION: The treated powder is obtained by coating the surface of a powder with a silicone compound having Si-H groups (for example, methylhydrogenpolysiloxane and phenylhydrogenpolysiloxane) and adding a compound which can be reacted with the Si-H groups to the parts of unreacted Si-H groups of the silicone compound in a density of more than 100μmol/g.
