<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely register the biometric information of a mandator other than a principal, concerning a biometric authentication device performing personal authentication, using biometric information. <P>SOLUTION: In an IC card (5), the biometric information of a registered principal is collated with biological information detected by a detection unit (1-1), and when the biometric authentication of the principal is satisfactory, the access permission of the change of the data of a mandator in the IC card (5) is executed. Thus, it is possible to safely change the biological information of the mandator to the card in which the biometric information of the principal is registered.
