<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup-pin setting device for supporting a printed wiring board to which components are mounted, wherein the setting of a backup pin is carried out without errors and in readily practicable manner. <P>SOLUTION: The backup-pin setting device is used for supporting the printed wiring board, by selecting a location where it will not abut against various components which are mounted on the printed wiring board. The backup-pin setting device comprises a support plate 51, in which insertion holes 53 for inserting a plurality of backup pins 52 are formed in a matrix form or in staggered form; and a location instruction controller 10, which acquires a location where the backup-pin setting device will not abut against various components which are mounted on the printed wiring board, and controls to irradiate light for instruction for inserting the backup pin 52 into the insertion hole 53, corresponding to the location, from below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
