<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, with ease, plastic moldings excellent in fog resistance and stainproof characteristic by making the surface of a hydrophobic plastic to be highly hydrophilic. <P>SOLUTION: A film base is provided with a film composed of hydrophilic silica and titanium oxide having highly photocatalytic characteristic. A silica film is transferred on to the plastic surface by pressure and heat, or the above film is fed to an inner face of a mold by using a foil feeding device, and then a plastic is subjected to injection molding, to thereby transfer the silica film.
