PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorating method for a ring for decoration which allows clear recognition of a design by the naked eye and is provided with decorative design on the surface with excellent fanciness without requiring a large-scale facility. SOLUTION: The decorating method for a ring for decoration is composed of the process of providing diamond byte cut along the circumference of the outer peripheral surface 11 of a ring body 10 by a diamond byte and the process of engraving a design 13 that is the same one as a design 15 provided to a rotator 16 along the circumferential direction of the outer periphery surface 11 of the ring body 10 with the rotary 16 and the ring body 10 rotating in opposite directions with each other by a rotary shaft 14 that is positioned on the inner side of the ring body 10 to stabilize the ring and the rotator 16 positioned on the outer side of the ring body 10 and provided with the uninterrupted design 15 along the circumference of the outer periphery surface rotating the ring body 10 and pressing the rotator 16 against the ring body 10.
