<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator that is manufactured easily and facilitates thickness reduction, and to provide a device equipped with the piezoelectric actuator. <P>SOLUTION: An reinforcing plate 81 and a piezoelectric element 82 are insulated. A plurality of back electrodes 85A are formed on a face of the piezoelectric element 82 facing the reinforcing plate 81. Recesses 814 are formed in the vicinity of vibration nodes of a vibration element 66 in the reinforcing plate 81. A back electrode conducting section is formed in the recesses 814 and carries a current between the back electrodes 85A, facing each other on both sides of the reinforcing plate 81. A current is carried between the back electrodes 85A and conducting patterns 841 of lead boards 84. Since a current is carried between the back electrodes 85A by the recesses 814 in the reinforcing plate 81, the lead boards 84 do not need to be disposed from a surface of the piezoelectric element 82 at a predetermined interval, and reduction in the thickness of the vibration element 66 can be facilitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
