PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming spacers of a liquid crystal display device, using an ink jet injection system, that can form ball spacers by sub-pixels without causing interference between adjacent spacers. SOLUTION: The method for forming spacers of the liquid crystal display device includes a stage of aligning a nozzle having jet holes arrayed at designated intervals over a TFT array substrate 120 or color filter substrate 110 where unit pixels are arrayed in a matrix, a 1st spacer dispensing stage of dispensing 1st spacers by two or more sub-pixels from the nozzle, and a 2nd spacer dispensing stage of moving the nozzle and dispensing 2nd spacers at each of sub-pixels formed between 1st spacers on the substrate.
