PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by finely dispersing oxidized graphite in a thermoplastic resin and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by melt kneading a thermoplastic resin (A) and oxidized graphite (B) into which organic onium ions are intercalated. The interlayer distance of the oxidized graphite in the thermoplastic resin composition is≥40Åor the layered structure comes disappeared. Its manufacturing method is also provided.
