PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the suction device of cut chips capable of removing the cut chips generated in a tip in a cutting process to another place without scattering them in the vicinity of the tip or prevented from being clogged with the chips. SOLUTION: An suction hood 20 having a suction inlet 20A is integrally provided on the upper surface of the tip 11 in a tip holder 10, small/large spacing sections (small chamber 21, large chamber 25) enclosed by side walls are provided inside the suction food 20, the suction food 20A is disposed in almost parallel with a tip processing surface so as to allow the cut chips sucked from the suction inlet 20A to be collided with side walls 23 thereof and so as to configure a return side wall 2B, and an suction duct 30 that sucks the air from the small/large spacing sections (small chamber 21, large chamber 25) is connected to the downstream side section of the suction hood 20. This allows the cut chips to be sucked into the suction hood 20 without scattering them in all directions, and the sucked cut chips collide with the side walls 23 of the small/large spacing sections (small chamber 21, large chamber 25) and are broken into pieces, and are sucked into the suction duct 30 without causing the clogging with the cut chips.
