PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer capable of obtaining a good mixing and stirring capacity even if the structure thereof is simple and inexpensive. SOLUTION: A cylindrical casing 11, which has a supply port 13 for supplying a substance M to be mixed provided to its upper end opening and a takeout port 15 for taking out the substance M to be mixed provided to its lower end opening and of which the up and down direction is set to an axial direction, is installed and a rotary shaft 19, which is rotated at a definite position and of which the up and down direction is set to an axial direction, is arranged to the center part of the casing 11. Brackets 31, 32, 33 and 34 are provided to the rotary shaft 19 over a plurality of stages in the up and down direction thereof and the base end parts of stirring blades 25, 26, 27 and 28 for mixing and stirring the substance M to be mixed are supported on the brackets 31, 32, 33 and 34 through attaching shafts 35, 36, 37 and 38 in a shakable manner.
