PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit crazing during a coating operation regarding an inkjet recording paper which is improved in terms of fingerprint proofness, hampering of appreciation by a reflected light and glaring due to a surface gloss.
SOLUTION: This inkjet recording paper has at least two porous ink absorptive layers formed on a support made up of paper of which both surfaces are covered with a polyolefin resin. In addition, the 60° mirror surface glossiness of the support surface by JIS-Z-8741 is 5 to 30% and the centerline average roughness Ra when the paper is measured in terms of 2.5 mm reference length and 0.8 mm cutoff value by JIS-B-0601 is 0.8 to 3.0 μm. In addition, the paper has an undercoat layer composed of a hydrophilic polymer formed between the support and the ink absorptive layers. Further, the remotest one of the ink absorptive layers from the support contains a matting agent, while the closest ink absorptive layer contains an emulsion resin emulsion-polymerized by a polymer dispersant with a hydroxyl group.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
