<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock recovery information generating circuit and a clock recovery circuit that uses a total accumulation value of video clocks as a control input and nonetheless can decrease the amount of clock information to be transmitted from a transmission side. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission side clock recovery information generating circuit comprises: a counter 1 for generating a reference period pulse from a transmission clock; a counter 2 for counting the video clocks from 0 to a natural number C-1 or I-1; a register 3 for latching a value of the counter 2 for each reference period pulse; a selector 4 for selecting a C or I value with a control pulse; a clear section 5 for clearing the count of the counter 2 to 0 by comparing counts of the counter 2; and a clock recovery information data arithmetic section 6 for calculating clock recovery information data on the basis of a value of the register 3 through arithmetic operations and outputting the control pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
