PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably reduce the production cost of high purity ferritic stainless steel excellent in cold-workability and corrosion resistance by improving the ductility thereof without obstructing the productivity. SOLUTION: A method of producing the high purity ferritic stainless steel excellent in the ductility is characterized in that the high purity ferritic stainless steel containing, by mass%, 10-32% Cr,≤0.03% C,≤0.03% N and stabilizing element of one or more kinds of 0.05-1.0% Nb and 0.01-1.0% Ti is used and the stainless steel is annealed under the reducing atmosphere containing≥50% hydrogen, and thereafter, a dehydrogenation-treatment is applied to the stainless steel at 50-600°C for a prescribed time and a cold-rolling is performed.
