PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin structured such that a vagina facing area is not easily deformed and the vagina facing area is surely and closely contact to a vaginal opening when worn by being stuck to underwear. SOLUTION: A liquid absorbing layer 20 constituting the sanitary napkin 1 is provided with a highly rigid vagina facing area 25 and lowly rigid side part areas 26 positioned on both sides, and the boundary of the vagina facing area 25 and the side part area 26 is formed into a bend boundary part 29. When wearing the sanitary napkin 1, since the side part areas 26 are bent downwards with the bend boundary part 29 as the boundary, the vagina facing area 25 is not largely bent or twisted, and the vagina facing area 26 is surely stuck to the vaginal opening in a state developed roughly in a plane shape.
