<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for paying a fault insurance premium in the case of maintenance by setting the insurance premium concerning a fault in response to the setting state of a computer, etc., and reducing the succeeding premium when maintenance is not required during a prescribed insurance period, since the frequency of repair and maintenance varies depending on the setting situation of the computer, related apparatuses and a LAN possessed by a client. <P>SOLUTION: The fault insurance service system for the computer and the related apparatus determines the insurance premium by an assessment determining means. The assessment determining means comprises: an assessment information means; and an insurance premium calculating means for calculating the insurance premium by the use of information from the assessment information means. The assessment information means comprises: an assessing means for selectively assessing each assessment item concerning the computer, etc.; a fault information collecting and preserving means; an examination information preserving means; a means for fetching each kind of information; a means for generating and updating assessment information; and a means for storing and preserving the assessment information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
