<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which reduces the leakage current by dynamically or statically cutting off the supply of power to IPs. <P>SOLUTION: In the semiconductor integrated circuit including a plurality of IPs, the supply and cut-off of power to the IPs is controlled by using an interruption signal which shows the finish of processing of the IPs. A power supply control register 5 has such a large memory capacity (bits) as to control the supply and cut-off of power on an IP-by-IP basis, and hence can control the power supply dynamically by the interruption signal or statically by software.
