PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attention arousing tool which attracts the attention of passengers and ensures the safety of them by making use of an arrangement provided beforehand in order to hoist a heavy structure, and attaching a fitting that makes visible the presence thereof inclusive of the existing structure even at night, to the arrangement, without changing the design of the arrangement. SOLUTION: The attention arousing tool 10 is formed like a rod, which is attached into a female screw 100a formed in street equipment 100, in place of an eyebolt 101 for hoisting the street equipment. The attention arousing tool 10 has a male screw (engaging portion) 11 formed on one end thereof, which is shaped so as to have the same dimension of a male screw 101a of the eyebolt 101, and a body portion (exposed portion) 12 formed on the other end, that is opposite to the male screw 11.
