<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system having a post-processor connected to an image forming apparatus capable of performing the post-processing of paper sheets of the number exceeding the paper sheet loadable number of a paper sheet loading means provided on the post-processor in an off-line mode. <P>SOLUTION: The post-processor comprises a plurality of paper sheet loading means to load paper sheets thereon, a plurality of paper sheet detection means to detect presence/absence of the respective paper sheets, a stacking means to stack the paper sheets stored in the plurality of paper sheet loading means, and a control means to control the operation of the post-processor. When the paper sheets loaded on all paper sheet loading means are used up during the operation in an off-line mode, the control means controls the operation to perform the post-processing of the paper sheets stacked in the stacking means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
