PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anticancer agent effective for treating malignant tumors, especially, ovarian cancer. SOLUTION: The anticancer agent comprises: as active ingredients, one of taxol and taxol derivatives; and a protein of a deiphteria toxin variant which protein has activity of inhibiting bonding between an HB (hepatitis B)-EGF (epidermal growth factor) and an EGF receptor and has practically no toxicity of the deiphteria toxin.
