PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering device capable of certainly maintaining engagement with a belt with helical teeth and efficiently manufactured by facilitating processing and assembling work of a tooth part of a driven pulley. SOLUTION: A ball nut 21 is externally inserted into a ball screw stem 19 to be furnished on a steering member 6 reciprocating by turning of a steering wheel through a ball 20. A driving pulley 12 with helical teeth is provided on a drive shaft of an electric motor 10, and a driven pulley 13 with helical teeth is provided on the ball nut 21. The driving pulley 12 and the driven pulley 13 are connected to each other through the belt 14 with the helical teeth. The driving pulley 12 regulates a position of the belt 14 within specified width in the axial direction by both flanges 25 on both ends in the axial direction. Widened parts 13a, 13b of width dimensions (b) larger than regulated width (a) of the belt 14 by the both flanges 25 of the driving pulley 12 are provided on the driven pulley 13 without providing a flange.
