PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a molded product capable of easily press-molding a sheet material after extrusion molding so as to obtain a desired shape or pattern. SOLUTION: A kneaded material 5, which is prepared by heating and kneading a thermoplastic resin 1 and an inorganic material 2, is molded into a sheet material 3 by extrusion molding and this sheet material 3 is press-molded to manufacture the molded product A. The sheet material 3 is held to a heated state until press molding after extrusion molding to prevent the lowering of the temperature of the sheet material 3 during the period from the extrusion molding to the press molding.
