PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of the radiation efficiency of a built-in antenna in the hand-held state of radio equipment, constituted by connecting two housings folded normally and inversely in both housings of a normally-closed state or a reversely closed state. SOLUTION: In the wireless apparatus 1 constituted by connecting a first housing 11 and a second housing 12 so as to fold them normally and in reverse via a connection part 13, the first housing 11 is provided with an antenna element 17 to which power is fed from a power feeding point 18, and the second housing 12 is provided with a passive element 19. One end 19A of the passive element 19 is amply close to the open end 17A of the antenna element 17 in the normally closed state indicated in Figure, and the other end 19B of the passive element 19 is amply close to the open end 17A of the antenna element 17 in the reverse closed state, in which the second housing 12 is turned inside out and closed.
