PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor capable of restraining a hydrophobic compound of low molecular weight (1,000 or lower of molecular weight) from being adsorbed nonspecifically, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This biosensor comprises a substrate with a surface modified with a compound, having a positive charge and a negative charge inside a molecule and can be adsorbed by metals.
