PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground vibration measuring instrument for easily preventing a pickup, a measuring device body, or the like from becoming wet and easily preventing theft during measurement. SOLUTION: The measuring device body 3, the pickup 4, and a measurement stand 5 having a leg are stored in a portable case 2 that can be opened or closed. A first hole 11 allowing a leg section 5a of the measurement stand 5 to pass is provided in the case 2, and the case 2 can be installed while the hole 11 faces down. Then, in the installed state, the leg section 5a of the measurement stand 5 having a leg is inserted into the surface of the earth 13 through the hole 11 and then a measurement stand 5b is allowed to exist in the case 2, and the pickup 4 is placed on the measurement stand 5b. The measuring device body 3 is stored in the case 2 and at the same can measure ground vibration by closing the case 2. A locking mechanism and an anchor 6 for preventing theft are also provided.
