PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a pinion shaft is made long, the diameter of the pinion shaft becomes small, the life capacity of a bearing is insufficient when a planetary gear mechanism is a three-step pinion. SOLUTION: The rotation of an input shaft 12 is directly transmitted to the front carrier C of the planetary gear mechanism 6<SB>1</SB>, and the speed-change/reverse rotation by a variator 5 is transmitted to a sun gear S1. When a low clutch L is ON, the rotation of an output carrier C0 of a simple planetary gear 11 is transmitted to a reverse gear mechanism 7<SB>1</SB>through the medium of a common carrier and outputted from an output shaft 13.
