PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an E-ring with a cover, preventing exposure of an end face of a shaft. SOLUTION: This E-ring 10 with the cover is provided with an E-ring portion 11 made of synthetic resin and fitted into an end part 1a of the shaft 1, and with a cover portion 12 made of synthetic resin, provided integrally with the E-ring portion 11 and covering the end face 1b of the shaft 1. When the E-ring 10 with the cover is fitted into the end part 1a of the shaft 1, the end face 1b of the shaft 1 is covered with the cover portion 12, which prevents human hands etc. from contacting the end face 1b of the shaft 1. Since made of synthetic resin, the E-ring 10 with the cover has excellent heat insulating properties. Therefore, even when the temperature of the shaft 1 becomes high, the temperature of the cover portion 12 is low and there is no problem even if human hands etc. contact the cover portion 12.
