PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor capable of improving quantity of air and static pressure being important characteristics of a fan while suppressing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This fan motor is provided with an impeller 1 and a circular cylindrical body 2 forming the impeller 1 integrally. The impeller 1 is connected from an upper face part 2a to a side face part 2b of the circular cylindrical body 2 to form a section P1 from an upper end edge part 1a of the impeller 1 to the upper face part 2a of the circular cylindrical body 2 like a plane while filling a clearance between a lower face of the impeller 1 and the upper face part 2a of the circular cylindrical body 2.
