The support is enclosed by a textile casing(2) which is closed to form a sleeve. The sleeve thus formed has a previously established diameter and on the upper and lower end is sealed to the support or to adjoining components, and the sleeve is then filled via a filling connection(4) with a suitable filler(3) with an overpressure. During filling the textile sleeve is supported by a light reinforcing. An Independent claim is included for a system for refurbishment of reinforcement of supports in which a textile casing is fitted around the support and sealed at the ends to form a sleeve into which is fed a filler.
