The connector has a contact pin arranged in a housing (2) and arranged at an end of an electrical conductor (4). The housing is enclosed with an injection molding material (5) in an area, in which the conductor is led into the housing. A latch impedes a penetration of the material into a contact area of the contact pin such that the latch is not a component of an injection molding tool for molding and processing the material.
