<p>The invention relates to a process for purifying glycerine. According to the invention, the process consists in precipitating glycerine solutions, with calcium hydroxide suspension, in the presence of 0.4...0.8 ml aluminium sulphate (0.8...0.9% Al)/kg up to a pH=8...10.5, followed by reducing the pH to 7, by CO2 barbotage, adding 0.02..0.05 g barium chloride/kg or the barium equivalent of another soluble salt, followed by coagulation with solution of 0.1...0.2% polyacrylamide, settling and filtration, passing on ion exchangers, advanced purification on adsorbing reticulated resins and the final peptide elimination by coagulation, upon vaporising the solutions at over 50% glycerine and their filtration.</p> |
