<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing foreign material by screening soft raw material to be charged into a blast furnace in a head chute is provided, which prevents a breakdown of soft raw material feeding equipment and stabilizes the operation of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing foreign material of a head chute comprises a moving buggy vehicle(11) installed to be moved along the guide rail(10) mounted at the upper of a head chute by a cylinder(40); an ores scattering preventing box(31) installed at the upper part of the moving buggy vehicle(11); a screen mat(30) mounted at the lower part of the ores scattering preventing box to be rotated by a motor(33); and a foreign material storing box(50) for storing foreign material falling down from the screen mat.</p> |
