The span has a horizontal conveyor paving slab (4) supporting a fixed guideway system, and a set of running tracks (6) on which a rolling material circulates. The running tracks form an integral part of the paving slab. Tires of the rolling material directly revolve on each running track. Rails are fixed on the running tracks for circulating the rolling material. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a span for a fixed guideway system.
