PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer switching apparatus which can easily monitor errors in a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: In the computer switching apparatus, a keyboard connection switch 11 distributes input operation information on a keyboard 4 to each of computers 2-1 to 2-n according to instructions from a switching controller 15. A mouse connection switch 12 distributes input operation information on a mouse 5 to each of the computers 2-1 to 2-n according to instructions from a switching controller 15. Flame buffers 13-1 to 13-n buffer the screens of VGA outputs 21-1 to 21-n of each of the computers 2-1 to 2-n. According to instructions from the switching controller 15, an image synthesizing apparatus 14 synthesizes screens from the VGA outputs 21-1 to 21-n of each of the computers 2-1 to 2-n to form images.
