[Also in Division E2] An adjustable seat comprising a tilting back 116 pivoted to the frame 110 at R and a silding arm 114 pivoted to the back at S is controlled by an adjustable telescopic link (see Division E2) pivoted at S, T to the back and frame, respectively, the outer telescopic member carrying a bracket 115 fastened to the arm 114 and pivotally supporting a manually operable lever 198 which permits the link to be adjusted. The link comprises inner and outer telescopic members and a quick pitch screw and nut one of which is non-rotatably connected to one of the members and the other of which may be non-rotatably engaged with the other of the members by a clutch device releasable by the lever 198.
