PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce difference between a photographing area in a first state and a photographing area in a second state in an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has an imaging device 108, an optical member 104 which is movable into/out of an optical path from photographing optical system 103 to the imaging device and through which light from the photographing optical system transmits in the optical path, and an image processing means 134 for generating and outputting an image in each of the first state where the optical member is located in the optical path and the second state where the optical member is located outside the optical path on the basis of a signal from the imaging device. Further, the imaging apparatus has a control means 141 for performing control in order to reduce displacement between an output image in the first state and an output image in the second state.
