The capacitor module [1] has a housing [2] in which a number of capacitor modules are housed [3]. A circuit board [11] is used to provide connections to the modules and has an external cable connection [12]. The base of the housing is filled with a capacitor emission fluid absorbing material [5] and forms a reservoir. The fluid can be a mix of deionised water and acetone nitrile as an electrolyte together with added salt.
