PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber pitch regulation holder aligning and holding a plurality of coated fibers with the arrangement of a core of an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: In the optical communication module 1A, the plurality of coated fibers 8a-8c of an optical fiber 3 are held by the fiber pitch regulation holder 4A and are connected to an optical waveguide 2. In the fiber pitch regulation holder 4A, insertion holes 11a-11c into which the coated fibers 8a-8c are inserted are formed to pitches of the cores 5a-5c of the optical waveguide 2 and, when the coated fibers 8a-8c are inserted into the prescribed insertion holes 11a-11c, the respective coated fibers 8a-8c are aligned and held with the pitches of the cores 5a-5c of the optical waveguide 2.
