PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot device for a simplified incinerator wrapped with wire netting improving a conventional simplified incinerator having a fault that high temperature combustion cannot be stably performed. SOLUTION: In this pilot device for the simplified incinerator 4, the periphery of flame 2 of a pilot 1 is wrapped with the wire netting 3. First, the pilot of the pilot device combusts, generates the flame in the pilot and a space of the wire netting, and heats the wire netting wrapping the pilot to make the wire netting high temperature. After evaporating moisture contained in incinerated matter on the wire netting heated and made to be the high temperature to dry the incinerated matter, the incinerated matter generates combustible gas.
