PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of preventing frauds using a "hanging board" and the like. SOLUTION: After updating a random number counter (S11-S13), this game machine determines whether or not the value is accorded with the value of an initial value memory, when it is not accorded therewith (S14: No), determines that the updating of the random number counter has not made the round yet, and finishes the processing without changing the initial value of the updating of the random number. On the other hand, when the both values are accorded with each other (S14: Yes), this game machine determines that the updating of the random number counter has finished to make the round, reads the value of the initial value counter (S15) for changing the initial value of the updating of the random number counter and writes the changed initial value in the random number counter and the initial value memory (S16 and S17). The "hanging board" cannot grasp the value of the initial value counter, so that this machine can prevent the "hanging board" from grasping the timing of the big winning by changing the initial value of the updating of the random number counter based on the value.
