PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking stove allowing easy cleaning work necessary to maintain an excellently detectable state of infrared ray of a heated object. SOLUTION: This cooking stove has: a heating means 3 heating the heated object; an infrared intensity detection means 40 detecting infrared intensity about each of a plurality of wavelengths different from each other in the infrared ray emitted from the heated object N, positioned below a top plate; and a temperature detection means 50 detecting a temperature of the heated object N on the basis of relation of the infrared intensity about each of the plurality of wavelengths detected in the infrared intensity detection means 40. The top plate 1 is provided with a light transmission window 14 formed of a translucent member in a state that light is vertically transmitted, and the infrared intensity detection means 40 detects the intensity of the infrared ray emitted from the heated object N, passing the light transmission window 14.
